Job Overview

The Nuclear Safety Case Developer role at BAE Systems is a critical position within the Site Safety Case Team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in producing nuclear safety cases that support build and commissioning activities for the Astute- and Dreadnought-class submarines.


What You'll Be Doing
  1. You will provide authoritative guidance on the development of an appropriate safety case structure, development processes, and associated analytical methods.
  2. Act as a senior SME for safety case development.
  3. Ensure that the Site Safety Case Team undertakes all activities in a manner consistent with Company Policy, Business Processes and the Quality Assurance programme.

Your Skills and Experience

Essential:

  1. Degree in STEM subject (or equivalent experience).
  2. Extensive knowledge of techniques and methodology used in the development of safety cases meeting relevant good practice UK nuclear legislation.
