We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability) to join our team at the Aldrington Centre. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, depression, and eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior staff members
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
- Stay up-to-date with current developments in mental health care and implement best practices
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within 6 months
- Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment
- Holds and will use valid UK driving license OR provides evidence of proposed alternative
