Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer Job Opportunity

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our client's team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, service, and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
  • Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
Package:
  • Competitive salary between £40,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience).
  • Van and fuel card supplied.
  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
  • Participation in an 'out of hours' on-call rota (to be confirmed).
