We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Social Care 2 Recruit. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care professionals in providing person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our customers.
- Coordinate and contribute to the ongoing development of care plans and quality assurance.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure an outstanding service is delivered.
- Support customers with personal or health care tasks, administer medication, and provide emotional and/or behavioral support.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and carers.
- Coordinate staff on shift to ensure the needs of all customers are met.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care or social work setting.
- Qualification in care, such as a diploma or degree in social work or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and within a multi-agency framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide support to team members and customers to achieve their maximum level of independence.
