We require a skilled Potting & Encapsulation Technician to join our team on a 12-month contract with the potential for extension. This role involves preparing, applying, curing, and inspecting encapsulation and potting compounds to secure and insulate electronic components. The successful candidate will have technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Tasks
  • Mix and handle encapsulation and potting compounds, ensuring they meet consistency and quality standards.
  • Use tools to manually pour or inject materials around electronic parts or into mold cavities, filling any gaps to secure and insulate components.
  • Allow materials to set and solidify, often under controlled temperatures, to ensure quality and durability.
  • Check encapsulated parts for air bubbles, voids, or defects to maintain high performance standards.
  • Handle potentially hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols to prevent contamination or damage to sensitive electronics.
