Description:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to fill a leadership role in our Central London office. As a Structural Engineer Director, you will be responsible for leading and growing our structural engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Branding: Develop your professional reputation while expanding our company's presence in the UK market.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors across all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of project design outcomes, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery with optimal resourcing.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to drive opportunities and repeat business.
  • Business Development: Lead efforts in tendering, securing new work, and expanding market reach.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure effective management of business and operational needs to support smooth execution of company objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold standards and procedures to guarantee high-quality deliverables.

Experience & Skills Required:

We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in structural engineering design and project delivery. A minimum of 10+ years of experience is required. Chartered Structural Engineer status is also essential. Proven experience in the London market and excellent business development and relationship management abilities are highly valued.

Salary: £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
