Fife Women's Aid is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to join our Women's Support Team. As a feminist organization, we strive to provide a supportive and empowering environment for our staff and the women we serve.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the causes and impacts of domestic abuse, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. With at least 2 years' experience in a support or advocacy role, they will be able to provide person-centered support to women experiencing high levels of risk.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting recovery from domestic abuse and has a strong commitment to empowering women and children. The ideal candidate will have a SVQ Level III or equivalent qualification in health and social care, or be willing to work towards a qualification.
The role involves working as part of a team to provide support to women and children, and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of motivation and flexibility to meet the needs of families.
