Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer - Military Vehicles

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at NP Aerospace Limited. As a key member of our Quality Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our suppliers and their products, working closely with our internal stakeholders to drive process improvements and value enhancements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier development plans to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Lead and participate in Material Review Boards and Root Cause Corrective Action activities.
  • Support the supplier approval process and assess manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety, and Environmental risks.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define process parameters and ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet design intent.
  • Support the Product Introduction Management process to ensure the supplier chain can meet required standards.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching to internal and external stakeholders on Quality Assurance Tools and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of supplier development techniques and quality assurance principles.
  • Proven history within Defence or Automotive supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018, and Defence AQAP's.
  • Knowledge of measurement techniques including Metrology, Inspection Methods, and Equipment.

Desirable:

  • HND/HNC in manufacturing/engineering or relevant experience.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours:

Core Hours: 08:00-16:35 (Mon – Thu) 08:00-15:10 (Fri)

Vacancy Type: Full-time, Contract (6-12 months), On-site.
