Job Title: Health and Safety Advisor

At The One Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a strong track record in operational delivery within a high-risk environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Set the Agenda: Develop and implement effective safety and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance on Health, Safety & Quality (HS&Q) matters, including risk assessments, accident management, and compliance through audits and monitoring.
  • Drive Continual Improvement: Collaborate with directors and managers to drive a program of continual improvement, ensuring the organization remains fit for the future.
  • Champion Occupational Health & Safety: Promote the adoption of a robust occupational health & safety management system to safeguard all staff and visitors.
  • Lead the Safety Management Team: Provide guidance on HS&Q management, driving innovation to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Oversee Staff Management: Manage departmental budgets, ensure cost-effective operational delivery, and prepare, review, and maintain plans, procedures, and policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in occupational health and safety.
  • Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a strategic health and safety role within a high-risk environment, strong leadership abilities, and experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
