Parenteral Nutrition Coordinator

Job Description:

About the Role:
This role involves working closely with our lead nurse to provide inpatient care, coordinate home parenteral nutrition, and manage high output stoma clinics. Key responsibilities include supporting ward staff, assessing and educating patients, and conducting telephone and attendance clinics.

Key Duties:
• Supporting ward staff with the delivery of inpatient care
• Assessing and educating patients on their nutritional needs
• Coordinating home parenteral nutrition services
• Managing high output stoma clinics
• Conducting telephone and attendance clinics

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a 1st level registered nurse with evidence of professional development and recent experience in colorectal ward or ward providing complex nutrition support. You must be able to work autonomously, have good problem-solving abilities, and be computer literate. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others are essential.

Desirable Qualifications:
It would be beneficial if you have completed a non-medical prescribing module and have experience working in both ward and acute outpatient environments.

Salary:
The salary for this role is £44,414 - £61,758 per annum.
