We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Gilmore College. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs to students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. You will be working in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, with a focus on delivering outstanding educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Mathematics to students in Years 7-12
- Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and understanding
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics Learning Area and participate in curriculum planning and implementation
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement whole-school instructional models and methods
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
- Capacity to analyze learning areas and individual student data to improve student achievement
- Experience working with Whole School Instructional Models and methods employed in Explicit Instruction
