We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Gardener to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our estate management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our prestigious housing development.

• Team Leadership: Manage a small team of grounds maintenance staff, ensuring all tasks are delegated accordingly and providing guidance and support as needed.
• Service Delivery: Provide a high standard of service to the site and our customers, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard.
• Maintenance and Upkeep: Maintain the estate grounds and apartment curtilages to a high standard, including the use of ride on mowers and petrol/electric powered gardening tools.
• Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety procedures and follow the correct method of working as per RAMS.
• Additional Duties: Oversee fencing repairs and general estate maintenance work as required, including painting street furniture and minor repairs to play areas.

• Qualifications: Must hold Full UK Driving Licence, NVQ level 2 in horticultural or equivalent qualification, and PA1 and PA6A.
• Experience: Ideally, you'll have all or most of the experience we're asking for, including leadership qualities and previous supervisory or managerial experience.
• Skills: Well-motivated, with a pro-active and flexible can-do attitude, able to act on own initiative, paying attention to detail.
