About the Role

G2 Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Environmental Protection Officer to join their team for an initial 6-month contract with the potential view of extension in the North West of England.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on potential adverse effects due to environmental pollution, including contaminated land, acoustics/noise, air quality, and prevention of statutory nuisance. Additionally, they will assist with general environmental protection duties, such as commercial nuisance and regulating noise from transport and building construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing and advising on potential environmental pollution impacts
  • Working with local authorities to prevent statutory nuisance
  • Regulating noise from transport and building construction sites
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve environmental protection goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in environmental protection within a local authority setting
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment

What We Offer
