We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Gloucestershire House, a purpose-built service for adults with physical disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
- Escort and assist customers in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
- Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping customers achieve their individual aspirations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Flexibility and creativity in working with customers and their families.
- Ideal experience in personal care (not essential).
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
