Job Description

Job Title: Programme Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Lead to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of Maths, English, and other subjects to learners on pre and post-16 programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the recruitment, initial assessment, and pastoral support for learners on pre and post-16 programmes.
  • Oversee the delivery of Maths, English, and other subjects to learners on pre and post-16 programmes.
  • Manage and coordinate learning programmes, including the development of curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Work with learners with additional needs and have experience of implementing post-16 curriculum and other relevant learning programmes or strategies.
  • Have a working knowledge of the relevant curriculum areas, including functional skills and GCSE English and Maths.
  • Develop and implement assessment and programme development skills.
  • Work with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement a one-trust vision.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children of relevant age in a learning environment.
  • Teaching qualification relevant to post-16.
  • Experience of managing and coordinating learning programmes.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant curriculum areas, including functional skills and GCSE English and Maths.
  • Strong assessment and programme development skills.
  • QTLS or QTS.
  • Experience of working to SIP/QIP priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate impact with experience in delivering vocational programmes.
