About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Sirona care & health CIC. As a key member of our Wound Care Service, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment planning, and advice to patients with wound care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide wound assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with specialist nurses
  • Work in a variety of community settings, including patients' homes, clinics, and GP practices
  • Conduct lower limb and vascular assessments, including doppler ultrasound and pressure mapping
  • Apply negative pressure wound therapy and compression bandages
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of wound care and pressure injury prevention strategies

Requirements

  • NMC Registered Nurse with experience in community nursing and wound care
  • Sound knowledge and skills in lower limb wound management and pressure injury prevention
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
