About the Role:

EMBS Engineering is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our precision engineering company, you will be responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Manager in achieving our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Design and create robust programs for EDM and Laser machinery, ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
  • Develop and implement jigs, fixtures, and press tools to support our manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in programming Laser machines or Wire EDM machines, preferably in the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, or Nuclear industries.
  • Proven expertise in Multi-axis Laser Programming and/or EDM & Wire Programming skills, as well as Press Tool design.
  • Ability to create jigs and fixtures, and proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD packages.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
