Morson Talent is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Plater to support work programmes at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake structural repairs and alterations on a wide variety of platforms
- Manufacture structural modules, fabricate and alter structures in various metals and thickness
- Read engineering drawings, interpret work instructions, and operate general workshop tools & machinery specific to fabrication
- Time served apprentice within the field of marine engineering / naval engineering environment
- Indentured Apprenticeship relevant to the role
- Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in a sheet metal, structural steel or fabrication related discipline
- Level 3 Engineering qualification relevant to the role
This is a full-time role, 35 hours per week, based on-site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
We offer Radius Allowance (outside of a 35-mile radius of Devonport) and require the successful candidate to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
