We are seeking a highly skilled SHE Advisor to join our team at Scott Bader. As an SHE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective SHE policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Conduct risk assessments and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards and incidents.
- Collaborate with site leadership teams to ensure the maintenance of associated accreditation and compliance with site SHE policies and procedures.
- Support the coordination of occupational and environmental monitoring programs, including dust and fume monitoring, noise assessments, and third-party emissions monitoring.
- NEOBSH Diploma (or equivalent) and a recognized environmental qualification, such as IMEA or NEBOSH.
- Proven experience in carrying out SHE activities and working in chemical or other manufacturing industries.
- Strong ability to record, monitor, and update data clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Previous experience in investigating accidents and incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending SMART corrective and preventative actions.
