Nursery Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team at Staff Match. As a key member of our nursery group, you will be responsible for leading and motivating our team to provide high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated team of staff.
  • Manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals to ensure staff are equipped to provide exceptional care and education.
  • Lead the team in EYFS planning and ensure children are learning and being cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's observations, assessments, and development.
  • Oversee marketing activities, including newsletters, open days, and promotions.
  • Take lead responsibility for Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Promote diversity and equal opportunities.
  • Lead by example, working in a flexible manner and promoting high standards of care and education.

Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification or above.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
