Cento Seeks Fire and Security Business Development Manager for Utilities

We are looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager with expertise in fire or security integration solutions and a focus on the utilities sector to drive strategic growth in our high-impact, relationship-focused role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business in utilities, building and maintaining client relationships with utilities providers, understanding industry-specific needs in security and fire protection, managing sales pipelines, and collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to grow Cento's presence in the utilities sector.
  • Build long-term partnerships with utilities providers, focusing on mutual benefit and value creation.
  • Cultivate in-depth knowledge of industry-specific needs in security and fire protection.
  • Drive sales pipeline growth through effective lead generation, conversion, and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into long-term clients.
  • Lead the sales cycle from start to finish, ensuring seamless customer experience and timely closures.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary of £65,000-80,000 with top earners achieving OTE of £100,000.
  • A car allowance or company car, allowing for efficient travel and flexibility.

Educational Background and Skills: A degree in a relevant field, combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is essential. Experience in business development, sales, or a related field is highly desirable.
