Main Responsibilities:

As a CNC Machine Technician at Fusion Resources Ltd, you will be responsible for operating high-speed CNC machines to perform tasks such as milling, drilling, tapping, and grinding. You will also supervise other machine shop machinery and ensure all tooling, fixtures, and CNC programs are available prior to commencing production.

Key Objectives:

The goal is to produce high-quality parts and maintain spindle time to a maximum. You will be required to keep accurate records of component quantities and scrap produced on the production documentation, maintain high standards in production output and component quality, and understand specifications of the tasks at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of CNC 3-axis, 4-axis machining, and Renishaw probing are required. You will also be responsible for basic editing of programs and tool tables, taking ownership of component quality and records, controlling, checking, and replacing tooling and cutters, preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines, and checking and refilling lubricant levels.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday, 7am-5:30pm, with overtime available at enhanced rates. Once initial training has been completed (approximately 3 months), you will work independently to achieve production targets.
