The Chace People Team is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team at our client's exclusive wellness members' club in Bali, Indonesia. This is a unique opportunity to join a wellness-focused community that serves over 600 members, primarily expatriates.

Job Overview:

The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, staff management, and budgeting. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality, healthy meals are consistently delivered, aligning with the club's focus on wellness.

  • Develop and update menus in collaboration with restaurant management to ensure they align with customer preferences and market trends.
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they are skilled and able to perform efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to maintain cost-effective, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards, including conducting regular kitchen inspections.
  • Track kitchen budget, manage food costs, and minimize waste while optimizing resource usage.
  • Proven experience in a 5-star hotel, Michelin-starred restaurant, or fine dining/private club setting is essential.
  • Expertise in various cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management is required.
  • Financial acumen to manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and food costs effectively is necessary.
  • Creativity in menu design, with an ability to stay ahead of food trends, is highly valued.
