The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability of our cash flow by securing the prompt settlement of sales invoices, collecting debts, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Key Responsibilities:- Credit Control: Liaise with customers and chase outstanding debts to ensure timely payment.
- Debt Collection: Deal with customer queries and resolve disputes in a professional and timely manner.
- Financial Administration: Maintain accurate and detailed customer records, create new customer accounts, and administer sales and purchase ledgers using Xero.
- Bank Reconciliation: Daily reconciliation of bank accounts in Xero to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Management Accounts: Support the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.
- Previous Experience: Proven experience in a credit control or financial administration role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy and attention-to-detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
