Job Title: Counselling Psychologist

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Counselling Psychologist to join their team in central Lancashire. The successful candidate will work with children and young people with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence-based psychological interventions in a 1:1 or group setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide training and consultation to staff on trauma-informed care and neurodevelopmental conditions.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, or Educational Psychologist.
