As a key member of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), you will play a critical role in shaping the organisation's external affairs strategy and delivering effective communications to a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head of External Affairs in developing and implementing the NCSC's external affairs strategy, aligned with the organisation's overall communications and organisational strategy.
- Write high-quality speeches for the CEO and senior NCSC representatives, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that speaking engagements and speeches align with the organisation's strategic priorities.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key organisations and teams to support the organisation's objectives.
- Contribute to the development of stakeholder mapping and engagement plans, and research and report on opportunities and risks for relationships with key external stakeholders.
- Assist in the production of briefings, events, and other communications materials to promote better understanding of key issues and initiatives.
- Experience working in a fast-paced communications environment.
- Proven speechwriting skills, with the ability to craft compelling and effective speeches for public audiences.
- Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
