**Salary:** £36,101 - £48,622 per annum
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a qualified and registered Social Worker to join our team as a SHiFT Guide. As a SHiFT Guide, you will be working with hard-to-engage individuals up to 21 years old, using evidence-informed practice and the SHiFT Breaking Cycles approach. You will also support the SHiFT Team Manager in multi-agency and multi-disciplinary networks to drive system change.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Engage with Children and Young People: Work with hard-to-engage individuals up to 21 years old, using evidence-informed practice and the SHiFT Breaking Cycles approach.
* Commitment to Anti-Racist Practice: Improve outcomes for troubled children with a small caseload (up to 6 children).
* Collaborative Work: Support the SHiFT Team Manager in multi-agency and multi-disciplinary networks to drive system change.
* Professional Oversight: Participate in practice discussions, supervision, and observation sessions.
* Adherence to Standards: Meet ECC, Children and Family Services (CFS), and SHiFT practice standards in recording and assessments.
* Safeguarding: Follow ECC CFS and SHiFT procedures for child protection and safeguarding.
* Support Decision Making: Work with the team to use personal budgets for child enrichment activities.
* Travel and Flexibility: Have a full UK driving licence and be flexible with working hours, including evenings and emergencies.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* A qualified and registered Social Worker, Probation Worker, or Youth Worker.
* Extensive experience of working with children/young people or young adults with complex needs in criminal justice or care settings.
* Fundamental practice-based understanding of relevant children's legislation and evidence-informed practice.
* Excellent communication skills and IT literate, ensuring high-quality recording on both CFS and SHiFT case management systems.
