Job Description

We're seeking an experienced People Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for providing guidance to managers on people processes and policies, ensuring alignment with our culture and values.

  • Oversee day-to-day people services, including family leave, probation, flexible working, and absence/performance management.
  • Assist with admin and payroll tasks, covering new joiners, leavers, contract changes, and absences.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and absence management.

You'll also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring best practice in people management, maintaining compliance with employment law and reducing risks to the company.
  • Keeping accurate records, providing reports, and supporting the creation of monthly people KPIs.
  • Developing, implementing, and refining people policies and procedures.
  • Working with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and managing day-to-day benefits.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in advising managers on people processes and policies.
  • Experience in dealing with employee relations cases.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Understanding of GDPR regulations and requirements and how they impact people data.
