Catchment Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catchment Technician to join our team at South West Water. As a Catchment Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective maintenance of our Treatment and Pump Station assets.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and investigate the performance of Treatment and Pump Station assets to ensure compliance with environmental protection commitments.
- Assist in the identification, processing, and preparation of capital submissions and operational work programs to ensure effective maintenance of assets.
- Support the team in resolving health and safety hazards and investigations.
- Provide technical support to the Waste Water Operational Teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and asset reliability.
- Contribute to the Smart Alarm project and respond to technical enquiries and customer correspondence.
- Support management team through ensuring governance processes are discharged and conducting site inspections.
- 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or equivalent, including Maths, English, and a Science subject.
- ONC / City and Guilds in a relevant subject or NVQ Waste Water Process or Sewerage Control Level 2 standard of competence.
- Proven ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Technical outlook and ability to analyze and administer varied data sources.
- Use of computer systems, including MS Office and Corporate applications.
- Experience of Fault reporting and notification.
- Full UK Drivers Licence.
