Subway Sandwich Artist job summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and friendly Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team at SPAR Valley, Anglesey. As a key member of our Subway department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing delicious sandwiches to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing all sandwich ingredients, including baking cookies and bread, and washing, cutting, slicing, chopping, and grating ingredients.
• Demonstrating a complete understanding of menu items and explaining options to customers accurately.
• Neatly preparing sandwiches according to customer orders.
• Restocking sandwich ingredients to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Using the till to record orders, take payments, and provide correct change where necessary.
• Understanding and adhering to all Subway and company operating processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhering to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards when storing, preparing, and serving food and cleaning the department.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
• Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
• Keen and enthusiastic approach to working both in a team and independently.
