About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Principal Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team in Belfast, Ireland. This is an exceptional opportunity to further your career with a successful and established company that prioritizes environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough environmental assessments, including PSA, DSA, QRA, and CSM development, ensuring accurate evaluations.
  • Oversee groundwater and surface water monitoring, providing critical data for project analysis and decision-making.
  • Design and implement site investigations, ensuring comprehensive examination of project sites.
  • Develop, execute, and validate remediation projects, ensuring successful restoration and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Classify waste and oversee the management of excavated soils, ensuring environmentally responsible handling and disposal.
Requirements:
  • A wide range of experience, knowledge, and skills in contaminated land assessment and management.
  • A strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
  • Previous hands-on experience within field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation activities.
  • A track record of project delivery and client relationship building.
