Shorefields is a reputable kindergarten seeking an experienced childcare practitioner to join our team on a part-time permanent basis.

Job Summary

As a nursery nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the daily needs of children in our care, including mealtime cover, engaging activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care and support to children aged 0-5 years during meal times and other activities.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment that meets the highest standards.
• Support the educational and developmental needs of children through engaging activities and play-based learning.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the kindergarten.
• Report and record any safeguarding issues promptly and in accordance with Shorefields' policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to child safety and welfare.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £15,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
