Job Title: Mechanical Contract Supervisor

About the Role:

The Mechanical Contract Supervisor will play a key role in the delivery of our Walsall contract, providing leadership and oversight to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the labour on site and the site supervisor.
  • Ensure site safety is maintained and adhered to.
  • Oversee the productivity of Sub-Contractors and directly employed staff.
  • Manage workload and productivity on site and in the office.
  • Conduct quality control checks and site surveys as required.
  • Solve issues that arise on site in a calm and measured manner.
  • Identify and report rectification works as needed.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with the client and merchants.
  • Attend monthly client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in social housing is essential, with an ACS qualification.
  • A full UK Driving License is required.
  • SMSTS qualification would be advantageous.
  • IT literacy, including an understanding of Excel.
  • Good communication and people skills.
