Success Talent is seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our retail team in Swindon. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a knowledgeable, unique, and positive experience for our customers, resulting in a store with strong sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that all monthly targets are met
  • To assist with creating a strong team environment for the retail team
  • To assist with recruiting and development of the team
  • To understand all current and future products and assist with educating retail team on product knowledge
  • To assist with ordering products, stock control, and responsibility for the delivery of all goods, following up with any discrepancies
  • To carry out month and year-end retail stock takes, following strict stock control guidelines
  • To assist with the control of the team rota
  • To carry out daily banking procedures and assist with cashing up at the end of the shift, where necessary
  • To ensure the customers have a positive experience whilst in the store

Requirements:

  • Relevant retail experience, with some in a management/supervisory position
  • Ability to demonstrate acquired skills and measurable success in managing a team, driving performance through KPIs, knowledge of retail IT systems, commerciality and merchandising skills, and fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic, ability to work flexible hours (including weekends)
