About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated History Teacher to join our dynamic Humanities department at Academics Ltd. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about engaging students with the past and inspiring a love for history.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering engaging and challenging history lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, planning, preparing, and assessing students' work to ensure exceptional progress, contributing to the development of the history curriculum and resources, supporting the school's commitment to providing personalised care, guidance, and support, participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience, and collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History, ability to teach History at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level, passion for history and the ability to inspire students, strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
