Machine Operations

Computerworld Personnel Ltd requires an experienced Mechanical Equipment Operator to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing equipment. This includes setting up and operating CNC and Power Press Machines, maintaining equipment, and resolving mechanical breakdowns.

Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Operating CNC and Power Press Machines safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining machines and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure productivity.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance requirements.
  • Liaising with production teams to resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:
  • 4-year Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship with a Level 3 Minimum in Engineering required.
  • Power Press or CNC background preferred.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills essential.
