Job Description:

As a SC Cleared Project Manager at PMA (services) Ltd, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from inception to completion. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of projects, meeting client expectations, and maintaining a strong working relationship with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to understand their project requirements and objectives, ensuring clear communication and management of expectations.
  • Prepare detailed scope documents outlining the project requirements, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop project programs and timelines, ensuring that the project milestones and completion dates are achievable and align with client expectations.
  • Understand and enforce Health & Safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Manage all aspects of project management, including coordination of resources, procurement, and stakeholder management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Interpret and understand construction drawings, providing technical guidance where necessary to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery remains on track.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and any variances from the project plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally with a background in construction and M&E (Mechanical and Electrical).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Demonstrable experience in preparing project scope documents, cost estimates, and program schedules.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within the construction environment.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Projects).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Background in M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) with experience managing related projects.
  • Familiarity with relevant construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred but not essential.
