Overview

As a Senior Human Factors Integration Engineer at SEA, you will play a key role in ensuring the development of our products is safe, user-friendly, and meets the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide human factors input to our design and development process to ensure that our products are easy to use and meet customer requirements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems, software, electrical, and mechanical engineering, to ensure that human factors considerations are integrated into all aspects of product development
  • Develop and maintain human factors documentation and requirements, including ergonomic and anthropometric assessments, human error and reliability assessments, and safety cases
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all pertinent human factors design factors are considered
  • Provide technical input to bidding activities and subcontracted work

Requirements

  • Experience of implementing human factors strategies across Defence programmes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Chartered status with the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors or equivalent experience
  • Degree in Human Factor Engineering desirable
  • Team leadership and management experience
