About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and patient support worker to join our team in supporting Joshua, a 12-year-old young boy with Autism and learning difficulties.

Joshua requires assistance with daily activities, including toileting needs, and accompaniment to community facilities to promote social engagement.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for Joshua, encouraging his independence and autonomy while providing emotional support and reassurance when needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with Autism
  • Calm, patient, and encouraging approach
  • Ability to accommodate repetitiveness
  • Good level of fitness required
  • Car driver preferred (Motability car)
