Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Chemist to join our team in Peterborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation of our hazardous waste site, including testing, sorting, and bulking of drum and packaged waste materials.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry or equivalent and a full UK driving license.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits include 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private health care, and other benefits.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with the daily/weekly plan for the operational areas and laboratory.
  2. Ensuring house-keeping requirements and continuous improvement programmes are supported.
  3. Participating in the improvement of process, contributing to micro project development.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Site Chemist will also be required to use FLT/Dump Truck and other mobile plant as required.
