We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic PMLD Support Assistant to join our team at GUARDIAN SELECTION LIMITED. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with students who require additional support due to their Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Job Description

This position involves providing one-to-one and small group support to students with PMLD, helping them to develop their communication and life skills. You will also be responsible for assisting students with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the requirements of students with PMLD.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop personalized education plans.
  • An empathetic and patient approach, responding to the emotional and behavioral challenges faced by students with PMLD.
