Gas Engineer Service Technician

Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the SG & AL postcode area carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out annual gas safety checks (LGSR)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Working Hours and Benefits:

  • 5 hours per week Monday to Friday
  • Additional overtime and weekend work available
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Monthly bonus
  • Out of hours call out rota 1 week in 4
