We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our Central Planning Function in Elland, supporting our Bricks & Masonry business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating production plans that deliver on time and in full customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert demand plans into production requirements, ensuring safety stock levels are balanced and efficient use of labor is considered.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules, taking into account production capacity, material availability, and labor constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement process changes to optimize production efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including production managers, supervisors, and team members.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to convert complex data into simple information.
  • Experience as a Demand/Inventory/Production Planner in an automated manufacturing company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between home and office.
