Job Title: Sub Contract Procurement Lead

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance works across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services.

The Role

As a Sub Contract Procurement Lead, you will be a key member of the MEHA Partner Procurement Team and report into the Procurement Lead. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with MEHA procurement and nuclear safety processes, leading MEHA partner company subcontract procurements, and liaising with the Construction team to understand their upcoming requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with MEHA procurement and nuclear safety processes
  • Lead MEHA partner company subcontract procurements
  • Liaise with the Construction team to understand their upcoming requirements
  • Raise Subcontracts in accordance with MEHA Partner governance requirements
  • Identify procurement scope gaps and propose mitigation measures
  • Support with the production of procurement strategies and tender documents
  • Support post-award subcontract management and contract administration

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working with NEC Contracts
  • Previous experience of Sub Contract Procurement
