Nursery and Leadership Opportunity

At Bright Horizons, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Third in Charge to join our team at Richmond Day Nursery and Preschool. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated professional to take on a leadership role in our nursery, working closely with our management team to deliver exceptional care and education to children.

About the Role

  • Lead and mentor a team of childcare professionals to deliver outstanding care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet the needs of each child.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy, and safe working environment.
  • Contribute to the commercial success of the nursery by maintaining expenditure in line with FTEs and budget KPIs.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Third in Charge, Room Leader, or Early Years Educator.
  • Confident decision maker with experience providing support and leadership to others.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
