Perinatal Counsellor Opportunity

Our Counselling East team is seeking experienced volunteer counsellors to join our Perinatal service. As a Perinatal Counsellor, you will provide support to parents and families expecting a child or whose youngest child is under the age of three.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver counselling and therapy sessions, maintaining accurate client notes
  • Work with a minimum of 2 clients per week, with the number of clients to be discussed at interview
  • Participate in induction training and monthly in-house peer reflective practice
  • Attend external individual supervision
  • Be a member of a recognised professional body
  • Adhere to CrossReach's Christian Ethos
