Senior Paediatric Pharmacy Technician-Paediatric Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Paediatric Intensive Care team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective pharmaceutical care to our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill children. You will be responsible for dispensing and checking medicines, managing stock levels, and providing training and support to our nursing and medical teams.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense and check medicines accurately and efficiently
- Manage stock levels and maintain accurate records
- Provide training and support to nursing and medical teams
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to our patients
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our pharmacy services
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment, preferably in a paediatric setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
