Job Overview:

Kansas Action for Children, Inc. is a leading provider of mental health services in Kansas, and we are currently seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Clinician - Crisis Response to join our team. As a key member of our crisis response unit, you will play a vital role in providing timely and appropriate levels of care to individuals in crisis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in need, including assessment, triage, and short-term counseling.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners to promote effective coordination of care.
  • Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with agency policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
  • Conduct training and education sessions for community members on crisis response and mental health topics.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus paid time off and retirement savings plan.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Licensed clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or eligible for licensure within six months of hire.
  • Minimum two years of experience in crisis response or mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
