About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Apprentice to join our team at Direct Line Group plc. As a Health and Safety Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting the Group Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing our Health and Safety Strategy, Governance, and Health and Safety Culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Group Health and Safety Manager in developing and implementing Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for employees.
  • Monitor and report on Health and Safety performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address Health and Safety concerns.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at Grades A*-C (9-4).
  • 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
