About Port
Port is a technology company that aims to decarbonize last mile delivery industry via e-hubs by providing a full e-mobility package: efficient, long-range electric vehicles (e-bikes, e-mopeds, cargo e-bikes, e-scooters), dedicated software, charging, parking and maintenance on a subscription to individual couriers and delivery firms. Operating in 2 countries (UK, Sweden), we are expanding our footprint across the UK and Europe.

Night Shift Job Responsibilities
  • E-Hub Patrols and Quality Assurance: Conducting regular patrols and visits to e-hubs, ensuring that each hub is in optimal condition, and addressing any issues that arise during the night. This includes performing nightly quality checks, managing rubbish, and ensuring that all e-hubs meet the required standards.

  • Rider Engagement and Support: Engaging with riders, gathering feedback, conducting surveys, and supporting onboarding sessions when necessary. This includes providing on-the-spot training and support regarding rental processes and e-hub rules.

  • Vehicle Retrieval and Hub Preparation: Retrieving missing vehicles from e-hubs and ensuring they are correctly positioned for the next day's operations. Additionally, assisting with the launch of new hubs during the night shift, ensuring that all preparations are in place for smooth day-time operations.

  • Documentation and Communication: Documenting nightly quality checks with before and after photos posted in a dedicated Slack channel, and communicating with the operations team to ensure seamless night-time operations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize e-hub operations, ensuring that Port's e-hubs remain efficient and effective.

    Key Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with riders, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

    • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues, and analyze data to optimize e-hub operations.

    • Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records, and prioritize tasks to ensure seamless night-time operations.

    • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
